| Conductivity Probes The
conductivity measurement in electrolytes is made by means of a 2-electrodes-measuring
cell. A sine-shaped voltage with a frequency of about 2 kHz is put at the measuring
electrodes. The current flowing through the measuring object is converted into a voltage
which is phase-synchronously rectified, smoothed and then displayed related to 25°C.
The sensor is delivered completely aligned. Slight contamination can be removed by
means of a brush. After intensive cleaning of heavily soiled electrodes the electrode gaps
can slightly change and thus influence the measuring result. A re-alignment can be easily
carried out in two points at 0 mS/cm (dry) and 2.77 mS/cm or 147 mS/cm (ref solution) at
25°C by press of a key. 120 mm long shaft of PVC-C, 20 mm dia., electrodes of special
carbon, integrated electronics, NTC-temperature sensor for the conversion of the measuring
result related to 25°C.
