General Description
The MPC2020 electro-pneumatic calibrator is ideal for pressure and vacuum generation.
The LCD backlight graphic screen displays simultaneously the values of two channels (2 pressure channels available and one for current) and allows all functions by menu-driven softkeys such as choice of engineering units, leak tests, switch tests, overpressure protections.
The MPC2020 calibrator can be built as a portable instrument or mounted in workshop system modules and panels with necessary regulators, switches and connections for pressure and electrical signals.
Up to 150 PSI, the calibrator can be provided with a built-in hand pump, volume regulator and precision needle valve for accurate generation (pressure or vacuum). Over 150 PSI, it can be provided with a precision pressure regulator and needle valve for accurate adjustment of pressure tests.
A second pressure sensor can be installed for dual range. All available functions can be programmed for each range separately. The measure of electrical signals of transmitters and pressure switches, as well as a power supply for two wire transmitters are provided on the front panel.

 

The display function “DISP” activates the readout of pressure range 1, pressure range 2, and current range with:
    over 20 engineering units
    current: linear or square root and percentage;
    “T/C” function activates the memorization of pressure
     increase/decrease and hysteresis for pressure switches
    “LEAK TEST” function activates the memorization of
     pressure drop per unit of time
    “SET” function sets the programmable light switch, the
     brightness of the backlight, the programmable       
     overpressure safety
    Automatic zero function
    “PEAK” function activates the memorization of high and low pressure values
    “EXIT” function: exit to previous screen saving new configuration.
